This week we are excited to fill your feed with daily inspiration - leaving you feeling, Oh So Inspired! Each day, we will be sharing behind-the-scenes content from the retreat that you can't find anywhere else!
As many of you probably know, Kelly is one of the co-founders of Oh So Inspired, a creative retreat for event professionals designed to elevate creative brands towards success.
"In depth educational speakers, creative hands-on breakout sessions, styling seminars, topic driven expert panels, team building activities, intimate evening events featuring stirring designs, strategic networking opportunities are just a few of the unique experiences planned specifically so that each individual will leave having the skill sets and insight needed for growth. These newly attained insights will help propel one's business, brand or career to the level which they aspire to."
Last year, after A Savvy Event planned my wedding, Kelly reached out to see if I'd be interested in handling social media for Oh So Inspired. I jumped at the opportunity to attend, and it's been an unforgetable experience.
Not just because of the fabulous speakers - all of whom I learned so much from - but also because of the community that Oh So Inpired fosters. Quite a few of this year's highlight projects came from friendships that began at Oh So Inspired, for example: A Savvy Lifestyle, this dinner party featured on SMP Living with Kevin Chin, Petite Petal Co., Stuart Event Rentals, LaTavola, and A Savvy Event, and my friendships with Esselle SF, Creative Flow Co., Indu Huynh, and so much more.
As I write this, I remember so many great experiences during the 3 days of learning, but one in particular that stands out was Marcy Blum's talk. She spoke such truth, and didn't sugar coat the hard work that goes into success. Lucky for us, she is scheduled back this year for what I'm sure will be another informative appearance.
The nightly networking events are - to be expected - over the top amazing. Last year, Jamie of A Savvy Event planned a white party that included spa treatments, sushi, and an impromptu night-swim. Which was only to be topped by the grand finalé party held at Cornerstone Sonoma. I don't think there was a single person who entered the space and didn't gasp. From the suspended dessert bar to the peony filled floral design, it was an event to remember.
The three days are packed full of learning and networking with amazing food and wine showcasing some of the most talented vendors in the country. If you have the opportunity to attend, it is worth its weight in gold.
