Not only is wine country is a magical place to bring your best girls for a weekend full of fun, it also happens to be one of my favorite places (aside from Tahoe) in the world. So I knew that I wanted to spend my bachelorette party in the valley. I turned to A Savvy Event to plan the weekend - and Jamie did not disappoint!
We stayed at the Westin Verasa in downtown Napa, which was a great affordable option because they offer two bedroom suites with a pullout couch - easily sleeping 8 girls. However if you'd like to stay in the Sonoma area, there are tons of darling Air B&B's, or the Kenwood Inn & Spa is lovely!
The following day we began the morning with a beautiful tasting at the iconic Domaine Carneros. We enjoyed sparkling wine & cheese at our private table adorned with La Tavola linens & flowers from Poppystone.
Afterwards, we took the trek to Calistoga, which was well worth it. The Solage Spa in Calistoga is unprecedented. Recently remodeled, you could spend a week here and enjoy every second of it. From fitness classes to pool lounging, Solage is a full package. There are options to stay on site, which would make for an unforgettable weekend.
A few girls got massages, but my sister, bestie, and I got a group mud slide. I imagined sitting in a tub full of mud; however, the reality was much different. We were first asked to choose essential oils to mix into the Calistoga mud, then we were invited to a heated room to apply the mud over our entire bodies. Afterwards, we were welcomed to a private patio to relax while the mud did its work - drawing out the toxins from the indulgent weekend.
