The Toyota/Save Mart 350 event kicks off this weekend at the newly improved Sonoma Raceway. The race represents the first road race of the season, and the last for season veteran Tony Stewart.
What was once a working farm called Sears Point, the Sonoma raceway track, established in 1968, features more than 160 feet elevation change. Staying close to its farmstead roots, the track is maintained by over 400 sheep!
The winner of the 110 lap race will sip from the winner's cup - none other than a handmade goblet from a local Sonoma artist, filled with what else, but wine!?
Prior to the race's start, the NASCAR pre-race show will take place in the pit - featuring Toree McGee, a Patriots jet show, and Jackson Michelson, among other entertainment, the NASCAR weekend is jam packed full of fun!
