It's officially fall, and this weekend kicks off the opening of many of the pumpkin patches within Sonoma County. From Petaluma to Sebastopol, here some of the best pumpkin patches in the area! Petaluma Pumpkin Patch

With over 35 different varieties and over 5 acres of pumpkin patch fun, the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch is a great option! Select from pre-cut pumpkins in the market area, or head out to hunt your own! Opens Sept. 30. 

Preston Farm & Winery

The organic and biodynamic property located in Healdsburg is a great option for picnicing and wine tasting year round, but when October comes, it's also a great place to take the kids for pumpkin picnicing! Featuring a farm store with fresh baked bread, home grown olive oils, and much more! 

Tolay Fall Festival

Beginning October 15th, the Tolay Festival offers hay rides, a petting zoo, lawn games, and good ol' fashioned fun! Every Saturday and Sunday through October 23 from 11am-5pm at the Tolay Regional Park. 

Eastside Seasonal Farm

The newest pumpkin patch in the area opens up this weekend (Sept. 24th). Wander the pumpkin patch, enjoy the corn maze, and even pet the goats & ducks!

Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch

This family owned pumpkin patch is home to Sonoma's largest corn maze! Enjoy over 8 acres of farm fun, and find your way through the 8 acre corn maze! Opening Friday, October 30th, the Santa Rose Pumpkin Patch also offers field trips & birthday parties! 

Spring Hill Jersey Cheese Family 

The Petaluma dairy farm opens its pumpkin patch on October 1st where you can learn how to milk a cow, taste cheese, take a hay ride, and so much more - all for free! There is also free parking on site! Enjoy pumpkin ice cream, live music, and even dig your own potatoes.

PaPa's Pumpkin Patch

Head to the redwoods for a serene pumpkin picking experience. With 7 varieties to choose from, you will surely find the perfect jack-o-lantern! Pick your own pumpkin right off the vine, and enjoy the calm nature of Sebastopol. 

Muelrath Ranches

Opening Sept 30th, the Muelrath Ranches pumpkin patch in Santa Rosa features mini pumpkins, ornamental corn, and sunflowers. Beginning October 7th, Friday and Saturday nights offer a full evening of family fun! Head to the campfire corral to roast hot dogs, sip cider, and enjoy nighttime hay rides! 

McClelland's Dairy

Open every weekend through the month of October, McClelland's Dairy is home to 7 acres of pumpkin patches where you can pick your own right off the vine! Organic food options, bounce houses, and a haunted house promise for a memorable experience! 

Grandma's Pumpkin Patch

Grandma's Pumpkin Patch in Healdsburg has been a favorite for over 17 years. Home to a handmade gift shop and a quiet picnic area, the pumpkin patch is a great place to find the perfect Halloween pumpkin!
