Sonoma Broadway Farms is hidden in plain sight on the main drag as you enter town. This sprawling six-acre property is the perfect balance between modern and rustic wine country. The original farm was built in 1946, and has since been renovated to feature a modern farmhouse with 40 foot vaulted ceilings, 40-foot vaulted sky-lit ceilings, modern chandeliers, sliding glass doors and stained cement flooring.
You would never know that Sonoma Broadway Farms is on one of the busiest streets in the entire town. As you walk further into the property, the noises of farm life take over- a trickling of water from the sprinklers, goats conversing and competing for attention in the back paddock, chickens and ducks seeking refuge from the sun under the shade of nearby trees.
If you are local to the area or looking for some locally grown, fresh produce, make sure to stop by the farm stand at Sonoma Broadway Farms. You can purchase fresh eggs from the chickens that live on the property, and pick-your-own produce from the very fields they were grown in.
Owner, Preston Raisin, hopes that Sonoma Broadway Farms with give guests the chance to unplug and reconnect with their roots. It is an opportunity to learn about a reality outside of their "norm" and get their hands dirty by immersing themselves in the farm lifestyle.
In addition to the experience of (quite literally) farm to table dining, guests can schedule private yoga classes, enjoy an outdoor fire pit, and are minutes from the heart of downtown Sonoma. The location of Sonoma Broadway Farms also lends itself to any wine tasting outings in the Carneros region of the valley. To inquire about booking the property, visit their website here.
