March came awfully quickly this year if you ask me, and we can't believe it here at ASL! Thankfully the sun has decided to make an appearance again, and things can return to normal here in Sonoma. The 40th Anniversary Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend, March 10-12
Members of the Wine Road would like to welcome you to their wineries and lodgings for an exciting weekend of wine tasting. This is your chance to sample wines from the barrel, talk to winemakers and explore the beautiful Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. More info here.
Sonoma County Restaurant Week, March 6-12
The 8th annual Sonoma County Restaurant Week will continue the tradition of celebrating the finest Sonoma County food! Participating restaurants will present fantastic food at fantastic prices. More info here.
Savor Sonoma Valley, March 18-19
17 wineries throughout Kenwood and Glen Ellen will be pulling out all the stops creating an epic wine tasting and barrel tasting experience. Meet winemakers, taste reserve wines, sample barrel wines, mingle with wine lovers, enjoy live music, tour wineries and vineyards, and savor a wonderful wine country weekend. More info here.
Sonoma International Film Festival, March 29- April 2
Named one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World by Movie Maker Magazine, SIFF showcases over 100 hand-selected films screened in six state-of-the-art, intimate venues all within walking distance of the historic Sonoma Plaza. More info here.
Concerts at Gundlach Bundshu Winery, March 15 and 16
Featuring food from Vineyard Crust Co. and wines from Gundlach Bundshu, these two concerts are a great way to spice up a Wednesday and Thursday night! Head out to the winery to see Black Mountain and Thao (of The Get Down Stay Down). More info and tickets here.
