The beautiful weather has inspired so many fun events and activities around wine country! May is always a busy month for anyone in the hospitality, wine, or event industry here, but hopefully you can sneak away for a few of the parties and activities on our list. Ramekins Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Cornerstone
Though you have to be a member of Friends of Ramekins, this event is sure to be a fabulous way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. If you aren't a member, sign up (it's free) and gain access to all sorts of members only events. There will be margaritas, snacks, a tamale making demo, and live music!
St. Francis Winery and Vineyards Rosé Release Party
Bring a blanket and spend the afternoon sipping Rosé on the sprawling lawn outside the tasting room at St. Francis Winery and Vineyards. There will be live music and artisan pizza, and guests will have the first opportunity to purchase their limited production 2016 Rosé. Part of the festivities are fundraising for St. Joseph Health's Breast Cancer Survivorship Program with raffle prizes!
Elizabeth Spencer Annual Sauvignon Blanc, Paella & Oyster Party
What could be better than Elizabeth Spencer Sauv. Blanc, oysters from Osprey Seafood, and paella from Zuzu Restaurant? We can't honestly think of much. Hurry over to their website and R.S.V.P. before May 5, because that is when tickets are no longer able to be purchased. Tickets and the E x S Sauvignon Blanc are sure to go quick!
Sunset Celebration Weekend at Cornerstone
A weekend full of great food, great wine, celebrity chefs, garden tours, and so much more! It is certainly a can't miss weekend of events in Wine Country. This years line up of presenters includes the likes of Chef Alvin Cailnan, Tyler Malek, Matthew Domingo, and many more. Chef Ari Weisswasser of our very own Glen Ellen Star is presenting as well. Use this weekend as an excuse to get out of the city or play tourist in your own town!
BottleRock Napa Valley 2017
BottleRock Napa Valley is the wine country version of Coachella and this year's lineup boasts performers such as The Foo Fighters, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Maroon 5, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. There is a little something for everyone- food, wine, every genre of music. Additionally there are art and photo galleries to stroll through in case you need a little break from the music.
